Dr. David Miller has been in practice in Commack, NY since 1990. The practice was started by his father, Dr. Jack Miller, who retired in 1997. Our office is able to dispense most of the prescriptions written by Dr. Miller. This avoids having to wait for the medications at the pharmacy. Also, the cost of the medications is often less than the insurance co-pay. Otherwise, the prescriptions can be called in to the pharmacy to lessen the waiting time. As several of our patients have commented: "The Doctor and his staff are professional, friendly, and have a great chair-side manner." "I liked the calm and accommodating atmosphere." Our office participates in many insurance plans including Medicare and can work with the patient to set up a convenient payment plan, if necessary. Dr. Miller graduated from SUNY Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine. He completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at SUNY Buffalo in 1990. Dr. Miller is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the State University of New York at Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine. He works with the dental students every other Monday afternoon. He is on staff at St. Catherine of Siena Medical Center and the North Shore Surgi-Center. Dr. Miller has treated patients of all ages, including infants. He also treats handicapped children and adults, always giving them reassurance and gentle care. The office participates in many insurance plans.
